Passed away Monday, August 24, 2009 at St. Mary’s of Michigan. Age 77 years. James R. Williamson was born January 17, 1932 in Swanton, Ohio to the late Ammon B. and Marion (Taylor) Williamson. He was married 59 years ago on August 27, 1950 to his loving wife Margaret Bielert. She survives him. Jim had been employed by Saginaw Grey Iron as an electrician until his retirement in 1988. He also owned and operated Jim’s Mower Service. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Reese. Jim enjoyed fishing, bowling and camping. Above all, he loved people and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Margaret; two children: Terry (Cheryl) Williamson, Debra Barajas; four grandchildren: Jennifer (Tom) Rupprecht, Christopher Barajas, Sarah Barajas (Carlo Cardenas), Regina Barajas (Tony Gonzales); seven great-grandchildren: Tyler, Raymond, Allison, Emily, Santiago, Joshua, Camren; and many dear and special extended family. He was preceded in death by a great grandson, Anthony O. Gonzales II; one brother and one sister. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Barajas Family for their love and support. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2009 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road. Rev. Tom Senge will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home on Wednesday August 26, 2009 and Thursday, August 27, 2009 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
