Mrs. Harriet A. Urynowicz, East Tawas , Michigan

Passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Marlette Regional Hospital. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late Vincent and Alexandra (Rosinski) Lenczewski, Harriet was born January 22, 1918 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Harry F. Urynowicz in 1940. They were happily married for nearly 50 years until his passing on August 5, 1988.  They had two sons; Harry Jeffrey and Mark Vincent Urynowicz. Harriet enjoyed family, music and travel. She and her husband spent many years traveling throughout the United States and wintering in Texas. Harriet enjoyed knitting dish cloths for all of her friends and family, playing Euchre, putting jigsaw puzzles together and was always ready for a trip to the casino. Harriet was a past member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Tawas, Michigan. She was a positive person who always had a smile on her face and nothing negative to say.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harry Jeffrey and Barbara Urynowicz, Fort Collins, Colorado; three grandchildren; Michael (Margaret), Kristi (Richard) Boddy, and Laura (Norm) Schultz; three great-grandchildren, Joseph and Elizabeth Urynowicz and Jeffrey Boddy, all of Colorado; one sister, Alice Bublitz, North Branch, Michigan; one brother, Raymond (Wilma) Lenczewski, Sand Lake, Michigan; several nieces and nephews. Harriet was preceded in death by a son, Mark Urynowicz, and by a sister, Joan Skrocki.  Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church in Bridgeport, Michigan. Rev. Fr. John S. Sarge will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
