Frank E. Simpson, Saginaw , Michigan

Passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Saginaw Geriatrics Home after a long battle with heart disease. Age 88 years. Frank was born September 2, 1921 in Saginaw, Michigan to Frank and Kora (Kern) Simpson. He married Beverly Proux in 1957 and they were married for five years. Frank was a member of The First Baptist Church of Saginaw. He served in the China/Burma Theatre during World War II. Frank then worked at Lufkin Rule, and later at Saginaw Steering Gear. Frank is survived by two sons: Dr. Mark Edward Simpson of Newburgh, Indiana, Brian David (Jennifer) Simpson of Thornton, Colorado; two grandsons: Geoffrey Christian Simpson and Graham Bennett Simpson. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and two brothers: Grace Simpson, Jane (Earl) Stemple, Frances (Bob) Dragula, Arthur (Violet) Simpson, and Buddy Simpson. At Frank’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Following cremation, burial will be in Brady Hill Cemetery. At Frank’s request, a private graveside Scripture reading will take place for the immediate family. Rev. Mark Simpson will officiate.
