Mrs. June L. Schultz, Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Medical Center. Age 80 years. The daughter of the late James and Laura (Treaster) Guyott, June was born June 9, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. She married Thad F. Schultz, her loving husband of 61 years, October 9, 1948. He survives her. June was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hemlock, Michigan. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, camping with her family in her earlier years, but most of all spending time with her family.  Surviving besides her husband Thad, four sons, one daughter and their spouses, David and Kenna Schultz, Huntsville, Alabama; William and Pamela Schultz, Linden, Michigan; Ronald and Cheryl Schultz, Alamogordo, New Mexico; Mary and Douglas Jordan, St. Charles; James and Sheila Schultz, Madison, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Schultz, Nate Schultz, Sarah (Mark) Luax, Scott Jordan, Joshua Schultz, Lisa (Jeremy) Greene, Cynthia (Justin) Gigler; a great-granddaughter, Madison; three brothers and one sister, Robert (Harriet) Guyott, Richard (Jane) Guyott, Joseph (Delia) Guyott and Dorothy Cieszlak; several nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Schultz, and by one sister and two brothers, Helen Hack, Thomas and William Guyott.  Honoring Mrs. Schultz’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2009 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hemlock, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate. Entombment of remains will take place in St. Andrew Mausoleum. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hemlock on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers and in her remembrance, June’s family would invite you to share dinner with your parents, family member or friend.
