Beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend went home to be with the Lord early Sunday, October 11, 2009. Age 48 years. Linda was born December 3, 1960 in Saginaw, the daughter of Leonard Rohde and the late Betty J. (Newman) Rohde. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the Class of 1979. She had been employed by Quality Dry Cleaners for 17 years. She enjoyed working on the computer. She loved her “fur babies,” Annabelle, Tinkerbell, Peanut and Angel. She married Steve Chaltraw. Surviving are her daughter, Crystal Rohde, at home; her father, Leonard Rohde, Saginaw; two sisters, Julie and Brad Craft, Alabama; Brenda Lentner, Saginaw; three nieces and one nephew, Nicole (Craft) and Robbie Wahl, Steven Craft, Amanda Lentner and Jessica Lentner; several aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends. Her family extends special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Covenant - Cooper Neuro-Trauma ICU for their kindness and care. Funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service. Rev. David T. Birnbaum will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
