William E. Miller, Saginaw Township, Michigan

Passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009, at his home. Age 68 years Bill was born November 24, 1940 in Saginaw, Michigan, the oldest son of Marietta (Klein) Miller and Edward Miller (Sports writer for the Saginaw News) He graduated from Arthur Hill High School and attended Ferris State University. He joined the U. S. Air Force as an X-ray Technician. He was employed by Junior Achievement of Saginaw County and Colorado Springs until his retirement. Bill was a member of the Rotary, Bay City Country Club, was an avid golfer and NASCAR fan. He always proclaimed that the "Greatest Spectacle in racing was the Indianapolis 500". Bill loved life, his family and his friends. Surviving are his wife, Patricia (Boyd) Miller of thirty years; two sons, Tyler James Miller (Tammy Bruno), Hemlock, MI; Bill Miller Jr., Freeland, MI; a daughter, Tracey Mayville, St. Clair Shores, MI; two step-sons, Dr. Charles deSibour, Grand Rapids, MI; Peter deSibour, Minneapolis, MN; a brother, Fred Miller, Bonita Springs, FL; a sister, Kathryn O'Donnell, Boston, MA; eleven grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a special pal, "Bo". He was predeceased by a brother, Tom, a sister Martha Saroka, a niece, Christine Wright, a nephew, Parker Miller, and a brother-in-law, George M. Boyd. Honoring Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place, A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2009 at St. John Episcopal, 123 N. Michigan Ave. Rev. Darren Elin will officiate. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday and then at church on Monday from 12:00 noon until service.
