Francis William Leddy, Safety Harbor, Florida, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan Michigan

Went home to be with the Lord and his family on Sunday, August 2, 2009. Age 87 years. Francis was born on May 3rd, 1922 to William and Victoria (Koszelnik) Leddy in Thomas Township. He graduated from St. Peter and Paul High School, worked on the family farm and at Saginaw Steering Gear-Plant 2 until joining the US Army during WWII and was stationed in the Pacific. He married Clara Rose Rehmann, April 30, 1949. She predeceased him September 12, 1965. They had five children: Mary Ann (Bill) Hopper, Colleen (Mike) Cornman and Annette (John) Hamberg. A daughter, Erin Marie, and a son, Nicholas William, predeceased him. He is also survived by ten grandchildren: Richard, Erin, Christopher, Michael, Tim, Traci, Megan, Kelly, Katie, and Evan and five great-grandchildren: Jacob, Andrew, Jenna Alex and Addison. He later married Marion Frost on September 21, 1968. She survives him. He was also predeceased by his brother, Henry and his sister and brother-in-law, Bertha and Jim Pumford. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Helen Leddy. The funeral liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2009, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Saginaw. Rev. David Parsch will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 201 N. Miller Road, from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday where they will meet at 6:00 p.m. for a vigil Service. Friends may then call at the church from 9:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the funeral service.
