Margaret Lucille (Hubbell) LaClair, Fremont Township , Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt passed away Monday afternoon, November 2, 2009, at the St. Francis Home. Age 92 years.  Margaret Lucille Hubbell was born September 26, 1917 in Hemlock, the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Collier) Hubbell. She married Homer Sylvester LaClair on December 28, 1938; he predeceased her July 5, 1986. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hemlock, the Scotch Society and enjoyed playing cards with the Pedro Club.  Surviving are two daughters, four sons and their spouses, Nancy and Keith Kienitz, Laingsburg; Joseph and Carol LaClair, Chesaning; Donald and Jackie LaClair, St. Charles; Robert LaClair, Midland; David and Nancy LaClair, St. Charles; Kathleen and John Hutchinson, Merrill; twenty grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Masters, Saginaw;  Bernice Hoebecke, St. Johns, MI; many nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two great-grandchildren, and by two brothers, Eugene and Edward Hubbell.  Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hemlock. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Hemlock. Her family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw Street, Merrill, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, where a Vigil service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
