Mr. Robert B. Klemish, Bridgeport, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, son and brother passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009 at his home. Age 53 years. The son of Daniel Klemish and the late Mary (Smith) Klemish, Robert was born October 14, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Brenda Ruhlig, his loving wife of nearly 30 years, on May 17, 1980. She survives him. He was employed at Ferrell Ross and Saginaw Control Engineering until his retirement in 2006. Robert was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #7233. Robert was an avid Civil War enthusiast and a member of the Blue & Grey Civil War Roundtable. Robert enjoyed model railroading, working with his hands and watching NASCAR, the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings.  Surviving besides his wife Brenda are two sons and one daughter, Jason Klemish, Kinross, Michigan; Christopher Klemish, Bridgeport; Katie Klemish, Freeland; his father, Daniel Klemish, Bridgeport; one sister and two brothers, Mary Lou (Tom) Kaekel, Bay City; Gary (Darlene) Klemish, Freeland; Bruce Klemish, Saginaw; many nieces and nephews.  Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Klemish.  Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 7877 Bell Road in Bridgeport. Rev. Fr. John S. Sarge will officiate with burial in Pinegrove Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. There will be a Vigil Service 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to A.L.S. of Michigan or Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church.
