Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 24, 2009. Age 59 years. Pamela Dawn Kushion was born September 19, 1949, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late John Andrew and Marjune (Mikula) Kushion. She graduated from St. Charles High School Class of 1967 and attended the Saginaw Business Institute. She owned a Shaklee business for over 30 years and was involved in health and wellness. She became an author and also was an artist who loved to paint and write poetry. She married Wilfred A. Hoeppner on May 4, 1990. They made their home in Indian River from 1994 until returning to Saginaw in 2006. She had been a member of the Berean Bible Church. Surviving are her husband, Wilfred; one daughter, Kerri and Shawn Sny, Saginaw Township; one son, Joshua Stoddard and his girlfriend Randi Seplow, Nashville, TN; one step-son, Glenn and Kathy Hoeppner, Lansing, MI; three granddaughters, Ella, Penelope and Ava; one sister, Sally Mentus, St. Charles; one nephew and one niece, Scott and Shanda Mentus; one aunt; and many cousins. Her brother-in-law, Robert Mentus, predeceased her. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2009, at Hopevale Church, 5360 Shattuck Road, Saginaw. Rev. Daniel S. Davis will officiate. Private committal services will take place later in Oakwood Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, Saginaw, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and then at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
