Margaret Lillian Demand, Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away Tuesday, November 03, 2009 at the Saginaw Senior Care & Rehab Center, age 91 years.  The daughter of the late Wilford and Margaret (Campbell) McCullum, Lillian was born on November 28, 1917 in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada.  Lillian came to Saginaw, Michigan in 1935.  She married Lloyd E. Demand October 23, 1938.  He predeceased her August 13, 1995.   Lillian loved knitting and crocheting and she enjoyed playing the organ.  Surviving are a daughter and a son, Connie Terrian, Bridgeport, MI, Gary (Elaine) Demand, Birch Run, MI; two daughters-in-law, Elizabeth Demand, Saginaw  and Joyce Demand, Glennie, MI; eight grandchildren, Scott (Sol) Nimtz, William, Jr. (Mary) Demand, David Demand, Jeffery (Kim) Demand, Debra O’Neil, Lori (Tim) Hawes, Todd (Joelle) Demand, Aaron (Sarah) Demand; thirteen great-grandchildren, Nikki, Christopher and Alison, Nicole and Joshua, Shea and Bailey, Steven and Andrew, Garrett and Spencer, Maya and Kyle; one great-great-grandchild, Mycah; two sisters-in- law, Dudy McCullum and Marissa McCullum of Bobcaygeon, Ontario, Canada and many nieces and nephews, both here and in Canada.  In addition to her husband, Lillian was predeceased by two sons, William Demand, Sr. and Ronald Demand; three brothers, Lloyd McCullum, Alvin McCullum and Jack McCullum; a sister-in-law, Edith McCullum all of Bobcaygeon, Ontario, Canada; one brother-in-law and spouse, Harold and Lillian Demand and one sister-in-law and spouse, Alma and Daniel Helpap.  The funeral service will take place Friday, November 6, 2009 at W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Road.  Rev. Joel T. Ehlert will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
