Howard C. Bock, Saginaw Township, Michigan

Beloved husband, stepfather, and grandfather passed away Monday November 2, 2009. Age 80 years.  Howard Charles Bock was born October 8, 1929 to the late William F. and Sarah C. (Chaven) Bock.  He married Barbara Rummler May 25, 1974.  She survives him.  Howard retired from Saginaw Steering Gear in 1982.  He also served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was a member of the Salina-Pioneer Lodge 79 and was also an avid duck hunter and golfer in his younger years.  Howard enjoyed the outdoors and spending the winters in Florida.  Surviving besides his wife are his step-children, who he loved as if they were his own, David (Susan) Grunow, Carolyn (John) Schneller, and Thomas (Jennifer) Grunow; 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and one brother W. Herbert (Marciel) Bock, Sr.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Carl Bock and Arnold Bock.  Funeral service took place Saturday November 7, 2009 at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home on S. Midland Rd. (M47).  Rev. Kenneth V. Anderson officiated with interment following at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  Please consider a memorial offering to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Leukemia Foundation of Michigan.
