Skinner, Ruby E., St. Louis, MI, Formerly of Sumner, MI & Ann Arbor, Michigan

Passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Schnepp Senior Care and Rehab Center. Age 92 years. She was born April 2, 1922 in Gratiot County the daughter of Grover and Bertha (Guild) Gunderman. Ruby married Lee Dean Skinner on October 31, 1945. She worked for Argus in Ann Arbor helping with the War efforts during WWII and later retired from Ann Arbor Machine as a Supervisor. Ruby enjoyed cooking and loved entertaining her friends and family at her home. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Ruby attended Sumner Center Church of the Nazarene. Ruby is survived by five children, Jo Ann (Gary) Kangas of Saline, Lavon (Art) Caldwell of Howell, Larry Skinner of Whitmore Lake, Brian (Kim) Skinner of Sumner and Jeffery Skinner of Sumner, 14 grandchildren, several great and great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Shirley (Val) Dreffs of Whitmore Lake and two brothers, Cecil Gunderman and Ronald (Kathleen) Gunderman both of Sumner. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lee, a son, Gary Lee Skinner and eight brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sumner Center Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Harold Myers officiating.
