Nab, Lucille R., Saginaw, Michigan

Was called home to her Lord on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at Covenant-Harrison. Age 90 years. Lucille Ruth Burk was born on August 5, 1924, in Saginaw, to the late George and Sophie (Lemster) Burk. She was married to William Nab on November 23, 1944, in Saginaw, where he predeceased her on June 6, 1995. Prior to her retirement in 1984, Lucille was employed at the Saginaw Club for 25 years. She was a faithful member of Holy Cross Ev. Lutheran Church, having served on the Altar Guild. She also enjoyed quilting and playing cards. Lucille is survived by her son and daughter, Terry W. (Susan) Nab, Lewiston, Idaho; Susan L. (Mark A.) Eckstorm, Saginaw; two grandsons, Andrew (Anna) Nab, Gillette, WY, and Alex Eckstorm, Brooklyn, NY; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and one sister, Harold, Arthur and Kenneth Burk, and Celia Gross; and one grandson, Gregory Raymond Nab. Funeral and committal services will take place on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 12 p.m. at Holy Cross Ev. Lutheran Church, 600 Court St., Saginaw. The Rev. James F. Krueger will officiate. Private burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
