Murlick, Frances K., Carrollton, Michigan


Loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 72 years. Daughter of the late Edwin and Winifred (Wiercinski) Halasinski, Frances was born May 6, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Bertram R. Murlick on October 26, 1963. He survives her. Frances was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church. Frances enjoyed Walleye Fishing Tournaments with her husband, going to the casinos, her St. Andrew friends and especially her family. Surviving besides her husband Bertram are two daughters, Staci and Mike Neuerburg, Carrollton; Michelle Murlick and her fiancé Jim Leach, Saginaw; four grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Libby and Michael; her great-grandson, Jaxson; two sisters, Barbara and Mike O’Neil, Houghton Lake; Alice and Richard Carpenter, Saginaw; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank Morlick, Regina Humpert, Joanne and Bo Boettcher, Gen and Buzz Bremer, Jack and Lorraine Murlick, Shirley Roof, Joyce and Ken Laatsch, Beverly and Chuck Nichols, Dale Murlick, Bill and Sharon Murlick, Sharon and Gary Scharich, Donna Murlick, Terry and Donna Murlick ; her caregiver, Angie Sovine; many nieces, nephews and friends. Frances was preceded in death by her brother, Peter Halasinski; brothers-in-law and sisters–in-law, Bill and Betty Conway, Delphine Morlick, Ted Humpert, Raymond Roof, Sue Murlick, Jerry Murlick; and a special niece, Diane Goodrow. Honoring Mrs. Murlick’s wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Paul II Parish, St. Josaphat Church site, 469 Shattuck Road, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. James Wm. Bessert will officiate. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, where the family will be present on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
