Maczik, Stephen A., Carrolton Township, Michigan

Beloved husband, brother and uncle passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 64 years. The son of the late Steve and Betty (Ehmcke) Maczik, Steve was born on August 17, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Roberta Faltyn on August 13, 1977. She survives him. Steve was employed as a driver for Quest Diagnostics. Steve served in the United States Army and was a Life Member of the V.F.W. Post #1859. Steve and Roberta built a cottage in Au Gres and loved spending time there. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving besides his wife Roberta are one sister, Mary Lynn (Howard) Suppes, Vero Beach, Florida; nephews and nieces, Chad (Kristi) Suppes, Aron (Jessica) Suppes, Tara Suppes, two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Tony (Linda) Faltyn, Ken Faltyn and Jan Hebl. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road. Pastor Paul Hinz will officiate. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Rites rendered by V.F.W. Post #1859. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. V.F.W. Post #1859 will do a final Walk-Thru at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
