Laubhan, Vivian A., Saginaw, Michigan


Passed away Friday, April 17, 2015, at Edgewood Assisted Living Center. Age 87 years. Vivian A. Finger was born on May 1, 1927, in Saginaw, to the late Louis and Freida (Volkman) Finger. She was married to Reinhold (Reinie) Laubhan on October 23, 1946, and he predeceased her on September 20, 2011. Vivian was employed at Sunshine Biscuit, was an Avon representative and a childcare provider for 25 years. She was a faithful member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, having served on various ladies groups over the years. Surviving are four children and their spouses, John (Laura) Laubhan, Suttons Bay; Thomas (Kellie) Laubhan, Ft. Wayne, IN; Paul (Julie) Laubhan, Grand Rapids; Ann Leggitt, Saginaw; nine grandchildren, Bryan Laubhan, Thomas (Courtney) Laubhan, Mindy (Nick) Eckert, Todd (Vanessa) Laubhan, Amanda and Michael Leggitt, Alex, Elizabeth Laubhan, Kristin (David) Sturgeon; eight great-grandchildren, Cameron, Katie and Tyler, Lilly, Will and Aubrey, Anthonie and Xander; and sister, Evelyn (Charles) Morton, Easley, SC. Vivian was predeceased by son-in-law, David Leggitt. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 808 Weiss St. The Rev. Charles F. Buckhahn will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., then at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
