Jamrog, Harry J., Saginaw, Michigan


Beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 85 years. Son of the late Martin and Caroline (Wrona) Jamrog, Harry was born May 26, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan. Harry served in the U.S. Army. He married Joyce Emma Bluemel on August 2, 1975. She predeceased him August 28, 2003. Harry was employed at General Motors for 28 years. He enjoyed playing cards. Surviving are one son and four daughters, Chris Siminske, Kurt and Dorothy Graser, Barbara Sisson, Terri Murphy, Karrie and James Conklin; 25 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother, Joan Ray, Barbara Freeman, Delphine Hoffman, Tom Jamrog, Maryann Slagle; several nieces and nephews. Harry was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Boyd, a granddaughter, Andrea Siminske and one brother, Joseph Jamrog. A special thank you to his long time care giver, James Conklin. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road. Rev. Fr. John Sarge will officiate. Burial will take in Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Military Services conducted by American Legion Post #439. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
