Hoffman, Gary "Bink" W., St. Charles, Michigan


Passed away suddenly May 22, 2015 at his home. Age 67 years. Bink was born July 19, 1947 in Saginaw the middle of three sons to Bill C. and Edna (Ralph). He was an outstanding high school athlete. Bink enjoyed softball and golf throughout his life. He served in the U.S. armed forces in the Vietnam War. The night of his coming home party he met his future wife, Nancy Day. Bink and Nancy were married on February 27, 1971. He worked construction early on and was employed at Thompson Boat factory in St. Charles. He leaves behind his loving wife, Nancy “Minnie”; daughter, Heidi Hoffman and son, Lance Hoffman; grandchildren, Emma Robart, Julian Robart, Hailee Bohn, and Brandon Braley; great grandchild, Landon Braley; brother, Denny (Tina) Hoffman and several nieces and nephews. Bink was preceded by his parents and brother, Bill J. Hoffman. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Kendall Funeral Home, St. Charles. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of service. Per Bink’s request cremation will follow.
