Hatch, Frances B., Saginaw, Michigan


Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed to her Heavenly Father on June 30, 2015 after a short illness. Age 96 years. Daughter of the late Arthur and Clara (Haeusler) Schwannecke, Frances was born August 16, 1918 in Flint Michigan. She was employed by Self Serve Lumber and Second National Bank. Up to the time of her death, Frances was active in several spinning, needlepoint, knitting and weaving groups which generated many dear friendships. Surviving are two daughters and one son, (Frances) Anne and William Campbell, Mary Kotulionus, James Hatch; seven grandchildren, Julie (Dennis) Burk, Michael P. (Ellen) Hatch, David D. (Ann) Hoffman, Daniel J. Hoffman, Christine A. Hoffman, Kathy A. Kotulionus, Beth A. (Michael) Chesnut; 11 great-grandchildren, Jordan (Kara) Merz, Evan Merz, Hanna Merz, Austin Hatch, James P. Hatch, Andrew Hatch, Gabriella Hoffman, Grant Hoffman, Dereck Doyle, Emily Doyle, Walter Lodes IV; her brother, William (Maggie) Schwannecke ; several nieces and nephews and many Quigley family relatives in the West Branch area. Frances was preceded in death by her grandson, Dr. Stephen J. Hatch, her brother, Bob (Jacqueline) Schwannecke, a daughter-in-law Margaret (Peg) Hatch and son-in-law, David Kotulionus. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Dominic Church, St. Stephen Catholic Church site, 2711 Mackinaw, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Andrew S. LaFramboise will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, where the family will be present on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass.
