Fletcher, Julie Ann, Saginaw Township, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother and aunt passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Covenant HealthCare-Harrison Campus. Age 65 years. The daughter of the late William and Ella (Braley) Fletcher, Julie was born on March 20, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a beautician for the Hair Hut for more than 20 years. She was a former bus aide for the Saginaw I.S.D. She also formerly worked for the United States Post Office in Freeland. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Julie enjoyed dancing, music, crafts, sewing, making flower arrangements, playing cards and board games. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are one daughter and two sons, Heather McCardle, Saginaw; Keith (Katey) McCardle, Saginaw; Kevin McCardle, Saginaw; two grandchildren, Cali Fisher and Preston Acker; several nieces and nephews. Julie was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Moore. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 335 Johnson St., Freeland. Rev. Fr. Robert DeLand will officiate. Honoring Julie’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, where the family will be present on Tuesday from 1-8 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.
