Czolgosz, Marion F., Saginaw, Michigan

Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (GG) passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre. Age 87 years. The daughter of the late George and Linda (Bartel) Ferguson, Marion was born September 9, 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Thadeus Czolgosz on October 15, 1949. He predeceased her February 15, 1987. Marion was employed at The Saginaw News for 22 years until her retirement in 1991. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and its Altar Society, Catholic Study Group, Pulaski Women’s Auxiliary and the League of Catholic Women. Marion loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, crochet and travel. Surviving are one son, two daughters and their spouses, James and Maryann Czolgosz, Saginaw; Janice and Paul Cooper, Freeland; Jane and Bill Bourbonnais, Niles; five grandchildren, Laurie and Kevin Bischel, AnneMarie and Pape Diop, Thomas and Sarah Czolgosz, Kurt Bourbonnais and Katie Bourbonnais; one sister, Alice Reikowsky; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Marion was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Senk and two brothers, Gerald and Robert Ferguson. The Czolgosz family would like to thank the staff of the Second Avenue at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Centre and Hospice Advantage of Bay City for their exceptional care. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Andrew S. LaFramboise will officiate with entombment in St. Andrew Mausoleum. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday from 2-8 p.m. and at St. Stephen Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of Mass. There will be a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
