Brown, Donna Jean, St. Louis, Michigan

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, died suddenly on January 15, 2015. Age 62 years. Donna was born January 16, 1952, in Alma, the daughter of Donald Lee and Anna May (Morris) McGill. She married Terry Lee Brown on March 24, 1973. She worked at K-Mart in Alma for over 25 years. She loved to visit with people, whether as they were going through the check-out at K-Mart, or casually on the street, and was very loving and caring. She enjoyed going to yard sales and to the casino, but especially treasured her time with her family, her children and grandchildren. Her favorite music was country music, which she loved to dance to. Donna is survived by her husband, Terry; her children, Lori (Troy) Tissue of Riverdale, Jodi (Jesse) Wonsey of Sumner, and Chad (Wenona) Brown of Sidney; her grandchildren, Jessica Wonsey, Jarred Wonsey, Jade Brown, Logan Brown, Kenneth Tissue, and Kendra Tissue; and her brothers and sister, Annamae (Butch) Kench of Ithaca, Robert D. McGill of St. Louis, and Jack McGill of Alma. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Donald McGill II and Dale Race. Funeral services for Donna will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca, with Pastor Larry Wonsey officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Alma. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
