Barry, Arline Joan, Saginaw Township, MI and Green Valley, AZ


Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 16, 2015, in Nogales, AZ with her beloved spouse, Jack. She was 79 years old. Arline was born in Detroit, MI, on December 23, 1935, to the late John and Josephine (Midura) Warren. Arline graduated from Dominican High School in 1954. She attended the University of Detroit for two years and was inducted into the Mensa International High IQ Society. Arline then graduated from Delta College in 1972 as a Registered Nurse. As a nurse, she worked at St. Mary’s Hospital and then Jack’s family practice in Bridgeport until their retirement. While working, she was also a scuba instructor at the Saginaw YMCA. In 1996, Arline returned to Michigan State University and graduated as a nurse practitioner. Throughout Arline’s very busy life she spent 42 wonderful years with the love of her life, Jack. She is also survived by her children: Michael (Cheryl) Fabian, Kathleen (Philip) Naegele and Cheryl (Clint) Hemingway; stepchildren: Michelle Lamb, Elizabeth Depner and Katherine (Glen) Herman; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol (Robert) Amerine. Arline was a world traveler, an avid reader and loved the water. She enjoyed golf, playing bridge and was an excellent cook. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 12 p.m. at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road. Rev. Robert Richards will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 1-7 p.m.; and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
