Fred was born December 15, 1923 in Koudum, Netherlands, one of nine children born to the late Clarence and Edith (DeJong) Venema. The family migrated to Lowell, Michigan in 1925. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care staff of the VA Hospital for their kind and loving care of Fred. Dr. Byron C. Hayes will officiate the funeral service at 11am Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Word of Faith International Ministries, 500 N. Washington Ave. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
