Martha worked in the food service program at Bridgeport-Spaulding Schools for over 40 years until her retirement in 2010. She was also a longtime waitress in the Bridgeport area. When you think of Martha remember what made her special beyond her devotion to family and friends. Her raspberry patches for jam, beautiful dahlias, homemade pies, sheets fresh off the clothes line, African violets, lazy mornings at the breakfast table, Christmas cookies, undying love and pride of her grandchildren, holidays, and the best mashed potatoes and gravy ever. But most of all her friendship, generosity and how she has touched the lives of so many people. Surviving are two daughters and one son, Darlene and Mark Jakubiak, Kewadin, Judy and Michael Chmielewski, Saginaw and Thomas and Patricia Ulmer, Hudson, Ohio; two grandchildren, Michael Arthur and Jacqueline Grace Ulmer; two sisters-in-law, Marion Matzke and Elaine Priest; several nieces and nephews. Martha was preceded in death by her siblings, Adam Masica, Valeria Pawlanta, Mary Dankers, Lawrence Masica, Veronica Domagalski, Anne Stevens and Agnes Masica.
