Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence following a courageous battle with cancer. Age 72 years. The daughter of the late Almon and Flossie (Peake) Beaudin, Margaret was born on May 7, 1941 in Newberry, Michigan. She married Richard Taylor on April 13, 1963. He survives her. Margaret was a registered nurse and began her career at St. Luke’s Hospital, then worked as an emergency room nurse at Albion Hospital finishing her career at the Aleda E. Lutz V.A. Medical Center. She enjoyed vacationing in northern Michigan, loved being around the water, swimming and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband Richard are two sons and one daughter, Wayne Taylor, Saginaw; Loire Taylor, Lima, Ohio; Kevin (Jennifer) Taylor, Saginaw; five grandchildren, Maynard, Mary, Daniel, Jordan and Allison; three brothers and two sisters, Peter Beaudin, Jean (Carl) Jamrog, Mary Lou (Robert) Mills, Almon (Sally) Beaudin, Marty (Barb) Beaudin. Margaret was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Mary Lou Beaudin. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Marcel Portelli will officiate. Honoring Mrs. Taylor’s wishes cremation will follow. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00-7:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Family and friends will pray the rosary at 6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
