Schultz, Mrs. Marjorie Jean (Sherwood), Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away on November 2, 2014, at the age of 86 years. She was born February 7, 1928, in Highland, MI to the late Alton and Lucy (Nicholls) Sherwood. She was married to Carl Robert Schultz on November 23, 1949, in Highland, MI. He predeceased her on December 4, 2000. Marjorie attended Michigan State University and graduated from Henry Ford Hospital's School of Nursing. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Registered Nurse for the Saginaw County Health Department. She loved quilting, was a voracious reader and was a volunteer for the Friends of Butman-Fish Library. Surviving are her three children and their spouses, Richard (Diana) Schultz, Whitehall, MI; Kristine (Terry) Roethlisberger, Saginaw, MI; Lucy Schultz, Saginaw, MI; Jacqueline (James) Matlock, Saginaw, MI; six grandchildren, Jason and Neil (Karissa) Schultz; David and Steven Roethlisberger; Brianna (Steve Nimrod) Schultz and Autumn (Aaron) Boyle; one great grandchild, Mark David Schultz; one brother and his wife, Garner (Loris) Sherwood, Highland, MI; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was also predeceased by her son, Mark Schultz. The Celebration of Marjorie’s Life will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Ave. Rev. Ron Sinclair will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of her service. Private burial will follow at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery, Milford.
