Reinig, Dorothy A., Saginaw Township, MI, Formerly of Oro Valley, AZ

Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 86 years. Daughter of the late Ray Ayotte and Mary Louise Harrison, Dorothy was born November 12, 1927 in Huron County, Michigan. She was married to Carl H. Reinig on November 8, 1947. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2010. Surviving are two sons, five daughters and their spouses, Joseph P. and Laurie Reinig, Thomas C. Reinig, Mary K. and Mark Schwarck, Judy A. and Bryan Jowers, Susan M. and Robert Townsend, Marsha J. and Robert Caylor, Theresa J. and John Sheets; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her sister, Shirley and Eugene Martin; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frederick L. and Jan Reinig, Leonard Stirrett, Lillian Ayotte, Cindy Ayotte; many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, James F. Reinig, and by eight brothers and sisters, Louis, Lawrence, Joseph, Raymond Ayotte, Lucille Stirrett, Viola Ruby, Marlene Keane and Helen Boxey. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 612 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Robert DeLand will officiate. Honoring Mrs. Reinig’s wishes cremation will follow. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service, led by Sr. Elaine Raymond, MSSp will take place at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
