Loving wife, mother and daughter passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 35 years. Christa Denzer was born April 27, 1979 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a 1997 Graduate of Heritage High School, received her Bachelors of Psychology at Western Michigan University and her Master’s Degree from University of Kansas in Social Work. Christa was married to Paul M. Mannion on November 8, 2013. He survives her. Christa was employed by Community Mental Health in Midland. She loved helping families and especially loved her daughter for the short time together. Surviving besides her husband Paul are her infant daughter, McKinley; her parents, William (Patricia) Denzer, Saginaw; Velda (John) Vudures, Saginaw; her brother, Grant Denzer, Newaygo; her sister, Domini (Joseph) Boggs, Saginaw; two step-sisters, Michelle (Greg) Smith, St. Petersburg, Florida; Cynthia (Brent) Agin, Safety Harbor, Florida; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Daniel and Gaida Mannion, Saginaw; a sister-in-law, Fay Mannion, Royal Oak; brother-in-law, Mark Mannion, Saginaw; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A special thank you to everyone who has helped and offered to help during this difficult time. Honoring Mrs. Mannion’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday July 19, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams Ave. Rev. Paul R. Hinz will officiate. Friends may call at the church where family will be present on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
