Maday, Todd M., Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved son, brother and uncle passed away suddenly Sunday, June 1, 2014. Age 58 years. The son of Frank and Mary (Goodrich) Maday, Todd was born September 4, 1955 in Omer, Michigan. He graduated from Arenac-Eastern High School in 1973 and attended Delta College and Davenport University. Todd was employed at Alert Ambulance Company (Flint) and Saginaw Mercy Ambulance. He was then employed at Squires Funeral Home in Bay City for 20 years. Todd then served as a family service counselor for the Diocese of Saginaw Catholic Cemeteries. He was also a substitute teacher in Bay City and Saginaw. Todd was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #414. He enjoyed being outdoors, boating, photography, gardening, reading and loved helping people and spending time with this family. He will be remembered for his love of animals, his great compassion and for sharing his heart of gold with everyone. Surviving are his parents, Frank and Mary Maday, Essexville; one brother, one sister and their spouses, Timothy and Jennifer Maday, Freeland; Tamara and Gary Warner, Auburn; two nieces and one nephew, Desirae Fischer, Breanna Fischer and Cody Master; a very special friend, Cathy Shuler. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. Richard E. Jozwiak will officiate and cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family.
