Lickly, Dean L., Hemlock, Michigan

Loving husband, Father and Pa, passed away at home on August 14, 2014. Age 70 years. Dean was born January 30, 1944 in Hemlock, Michigan to Donald and Annette (Neuenfeldt) Lickly, His father predeceased him, his mother survives him. He married Jerri Reil on May 27, 1962. She survives him. Mr. Lickly was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hemlock. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War as Submarine Chief Petty Officer. Dean was an Electronics Technician for General Motors. Dean had a fondness for antique tractors.Surviving besides his wife Jerrie, he leaves a daughter Susan (Jerry) Owens a son Charles (Melissa) Lickly and their son Mitchell,a sister Janice (Larry) Moore, a brother Ken (Jan) Lickly, a brother Tim (Lori) Lickly, and many other loving family members and friends. Rev. Richard C. Mundt and Rev. Dr. William L. Morris will officiate the funeral service on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Road, Hemlock. Interment will take place at Nelson Cemetery. Military honors under the auspices of American Legion Post 439 will be observed at the cemetery. The family welcomes friends to visit at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 S. Midland Road (S. M-47), on Sunday August 17, 2014 from 2:00-8:00 p.m., and at the church on Monday one hour before the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings are suggested to the American lung Association.
