Krawczak, Theodore, Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Center. Age 75 years. Son of the late Joseph and Anna (Swinton) Krawczak, Theodore was born April 20, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Judith A. Gembarowski on June 2, 1962. She survives him. Ted was employed at Vescio’s Grocery Store and then became a millwright at Grey Iron Foundry with 25 years of service. He was also employed at The Snow Funeral Home. Ted enjoyed volunteering at the Saginaw Children’s Zoo as the train engineer and playing his accordion at many nursing homes. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Surviving besides his wife Judy are two daughters, Nancy and Tom Braford, Marcia and Chuck Jagger; two grandchildren, Tim Braford and Erin Jagger; his sister, Rita Raczok; two brothers, Bill and Margaret Krawczak, Dick and Jean Krawczak; two sisters-in-law, Pat Krawczak and Nancy Krawczak; many nieces and nephews. Ted was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and John (Jack) Krawczak and one sister Mary Margaret Hozeska. Ted’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all the nurses and staff at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab for the compassionate care they gave Ted. Honoring Mr. Krawczak‘s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 2711 Mackinaw. Rev. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate. Friends may call at the church where the family will be present on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
