Klopf, Betty A., Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Country Square Adult Foster Care in Auburn, Michigan. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late George and Anna (Bache) Lennox, Betty was born December 23, 1923 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Herman A. Klopf on August 8, 1945. He predeceased her April 7, 2010. Betty and Herman owned and operated Klopf Floor Covering until their retirement December 1, 1989. She was a past member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Surviving are one son, Garry Alan Klopf and his wife Deborah, Freeland; nine grandchildren, Virginia (Lorin) Bradley, Valorie (David) Moeller, Garry Alan (Andrea) Klopf Jr., Nicholas (Arica) Klopf, Natalie Parks, Jennifer (Jose) Martinez, Amanda Klopf, Kyle and Matthew Klopf; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one sister, June Stack; several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers, Rema Fellman, John Fellman, Daisy McDonald, Helen Light, George Lennox, Lorraine Bowman and Jean Boyer. Funeral service will take place on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Joe Atchinson will officiate with entombment in St. Andrew Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Sunday from 2:00-7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
