Jamrog, Barbara J., Saginaw, Michigan

Loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Tendercare Frankenmuth. Age 79 years. Daughter of the late Thomas and Bernice (Symkowiak) Popielarz, Barbara was born June 5, 1935 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Arthur H. Jamrog on June 9, 1956. He survives her. Barbara was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church now St. Francis de Sales Parish. She enjoyed cooking, bird watching and playing games with her grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband Arthur are one daughter and one son, Debra King, Bridgeport; Rick and Shelly Jamrog, Birch Run; three grandchildren, Ron King, Lisa King and Julia Jamrog; many nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by brother, Richard Popielarz and a son–in-law, Edward King. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Parish, St. Christopher site, 3945 Williamson Road. Rev. Fr. John S. Mancini, OSFS will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
