Louise Caroline Inglis entered Heaven on March 28, 2014, age 90. Louise was born Oct. 9, 1923 to Anna and Carl Mikula in Saginaw and graduated from the brand new Arthur Hill High School in 1941. She met Robert J. Inglis while ice-skating at Hoyt Park and they were married Nov. 3, 1945. They celebrated almost 65 years of marriage before Bobís death July 28, 2010. Louise worked as a beautician, at the Gun Plant and at J.C. Penneys; but she was first a dedicated wife and mother of 3. Surviving her are her children, Susan and Patrick M. Williams, Sharon Louise Inglis, both of Saginaw; and Robert and Kaye Inglis, Cadillac; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Katia Williams, Alexandria, Virginia; Anna and Thom Russell, Washington, DC ; her brother, David and Joyce Mikula, a sister-in- law, Eleanore Mikula; a very special sister-like cousin, Mary Ozana; and special nieces and nephews and their families. Louise was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Mikula. The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Caretel Inns, Bay City for their outstanding compassionate care in Louiseís last 3 weeks of life. Honoring Mrs. Inglisís wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service, to celebrate Louiseís life, will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 3127 Adams Ave., Saginaw. Pastor C. William Weis will officiate. Friends may call at the church where the family will be present on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Early Childhood program at Peace Lutheranís School or Saginaw City Rescue Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, Saginaw.
