Hill, Margarette A. (Maggie), Zilwaukee, Michigan


Beloved mother, grandmother and sister passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Medical Center. Age 74 years. The daughter of the late Eugene and Beatrice (Voelker) Jolin, Maggie was born September 7, 1939 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was employed by the Saginaw Public Schools as a bus rider until her retirement, helping special needs children. Maggie was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Matthew Site). She enjoyed bingo, playing cards and loved spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons. Surviving are her twins, Rhonda Spencer, Clio; Rod and Lena Hill, Saginaw; a special son-in-law, Jon Spencer, Zilwaukee; two grandchildren, Brady Spencer and Landen Hill; three sisters and four brothers, Joyce Metiva, Beulah Collison, Kay Makl, Eugene (Linda) Jolin Jr., Joseph (Rhonda) Jolin, Arthur (Wafaa) Jolin, Duane (Joanette) Jolin; many nieces and nephews; an aunt, Betty Priest. Honoring Maggie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Sister Janet Pewoski will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
