Dehner, Roselee A. (Rose), Saginaw, Michigan

Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at her home. Age 80 years. The daughter of the late Edward and Wilma (Rhodes) Novak, Roselee was born September 3, 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married August (Gus) Dehner on August 17, 1977. He predeceased her May 20, 1999. Roselee was employed at Aubry Cleaners for 30 years until her retirement in 1975. She was care giver for her family for 15 years. Rose enjoyed helping others and family. She was a very giving person and hard-worker right from childhood. Rose loved family, home life, traveling, fishing, the out doors, gardening, cooking, entertaining friends and family, holidays, crafts, adventures and loved her pets. Surviving are one son, Chris C. Wilcox, Saginaw; two step-daughters, Pat and Mike Jacob, Bay City; Felicia and Steve Salesky, Saginaw; a step-son, John Dehner, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Brandy, Tasha, Crystal, Corey, Karly, Kyle, Jenna and John; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by a son, Rodney D. Wilcox, one brother and one sister, Robert Lamb and Donna Christie, and by a special aunt, Delma Hoffman. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. Joseph Schabel will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Saginaw County Humane Society, Eastside Soup Kitchen or the charity of their choice.
