Couitcher Jr., Christopher R., Burt, Michigan

Beloved son and brother passed away suddenly Saturday, October 18, 2014. Age 32 years. The son of Jodee (Fila) Couitcher and Christopher R. Couitcher Sr., Chris was born October 12, 1982 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for two tours of duty where he received the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Certificate of Appreciation, Nato Medal Isaf Afghanistan and the Rifle Expert Shooting Badge. Chris graduated from Birch Run High School in 2001 and was employed as a certified welder. Chris enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his dogs, Hunter and Oakley. Most of all, he loved being with family and friends. Surviving are his parents, Chris and Jodee Couitcher, Burt; a sister, Cortney Couitcher, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; grandmother, Ann Couitcher, Saginaw; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends including Shawn Krueger and Larry Panduren. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wanda and Joseph Fila and Ronald Couitcher. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
