Wrona Jr., John A., Freeland, Michigan

Beloved father and grandfather passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at his home. Age 69 years. Son of the late John A. and Grace J. (Smorszcz) Wrona, John was born July 15, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army and upon his return he was employed at Eaton Corporation for over 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and especially bowling. For over 50 years John was an avid bowler and was inducted in the Saginaw Bowling Hall of Fame on October 11, 2009. John was also an active member with many of his friends at the Brothers of Kosciusko Pulaski Club. Surviving are one daughter Racell L. Frasle, Saginaw; two step-children Kimberely and Ross Dauterive, Las Vegas, Nevada; Blaine and Susan Manor, Marietta, Georgia; five grandchildren, Samantha Frasle, Alex and Ben Dauterive, Sean and Shannon Manor; one sister, Cathy and Jim Allen, Georgia; several nieces. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Anthony N. Cutting will officiate. Cremation will follow with private burial of cremains in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00-6:00 p.m. and on Monday from noon until time of service.
