Warzecha, Eleanor E. (Foley), Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Covenant-Cooper. Age 86 years. Eleanor Emily Ball was born on October 10, 1927, in Saginaw to the late Percy and Alberta (Doran) Ball. She married George Warzecha on July 16, 1977, and he predeceased her. Eleanor grew up in Saginaw and graduated from Arthur Hill. She attended MJ Murphy Beauty College and began her career as a beautician, establishing the Classic Beauty Shop in the Moose building on Hamilton St. She loved serving her customers, helping to bring out their inner beauty. Eleanor was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed knitting and was a longtime volunteer at Covenant Medical Center with their knitting group. Eleanor was the proud mother of six children, William J. Foley, who predeceased her, Marilyn (Richard) Hanson, Catherine Foley, Carol (Gary) Adams, Janet (Timothy) Deneen, and Robert (Susan) Foley. She also loved her grandchildren, Amy (Kevin), Cheryl (Bart), Aaron, Brad, Corey, Alana (Marcel), William (Meagan), Benjamin, Matthew and Justin; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Brody, Bryson, and Brysonís sister due in December. Eleanor leaves a special friend whom she loved and adored, Sim Clark, and his family, Kim (Nancy) Clark, and Karen (Steve) Williams. She was also blessed to love and to be loved by Georgeís children. Also surviving are one sister and three brothers, Mary Ann Wagner, Al (Gerry) Ball, Earl Ball, Dennis (Diane) Ball; many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by five siblings. Funeral and committal services will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 808 Weiss St. The Rev. Michael R. Korte will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, on Friday from 2:00-8:00 p.m., then at the church on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
