Szymanowski, Judy S., Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at her home following a lengthy illness. Age 78 years. The daughter of the late Matthew and Edith (Werkheiser) Fogle, Judy was born July 28, 1935 in Flint, Michigan. She married Robert Szymanowski, her loving husband of 25 years, on December 10, 1988. He survives her. Judy was a dental office manager for approximately 10 years. She was then employed as a realtor and was known as “the voice of Anderson-Lemmer-Wilson” until her retirement. Judy enjoyed the water and spending time at Wixom Lake. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and doting over her grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband Bob are two sons, one daughter and their spouses, Greg and Wendy Evans, Hudsonville; Steve and Tammy Evans, Freeland; Kelly and Dennis Sands, Saginaw; five grandchildren, Brian (Christina), Corinne, Cody, Karla and Austin Evans; several nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Baker. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Interment will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home where the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials the Salvation Army or the Saginaw City Rescue Mission.
