Schram, Alice M., Freeland, Michigan

Passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at her home following a lengthy illness. Age 85 years. The daughter of the late Adam and Stella (Sobeski) Malecki, Alice was born July 23, 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Alvin A. Munson on August 26, 1950. He predeceased her April 30, 1966. Alice then married Audrey Schram on July 26, 1969. He survives her. She was a past member of St. George Catholic Church and a current member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Surviving besides her husband Audrey are one step-son, Joseph Schram and his special friend, Lucy Perez, Freeland; a daughter-in-law, Kay Schram, Saginaw; four grandchildren, Don Schram, Darcy (Bill) Ryle, Joe Schram and Todd (Christine) Schram; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Mary) Malecki; a sister-in-law, Margaret Malecki; several nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by a step-son, Jerry Schram, and by one brother and three sisters, Geno Malcecki, Genevieve Majorski, Albina Hargett and Casmera Slaski. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Freeland, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Robert DeLand will officiate with entombment in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from noon-4:00 p.m. and at St. Agnes Catholic Church on Monday from noon until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Agnes Catholic Church.
