Pugh, Thomas “Kelly”, Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 86 years. Son of the late William and Myrtle (Leedy) Pugh, Thomas was born November 23, 1926 in St. Charles, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of American Legion Post #439 and V.F.W. Post # 1566. Thomas married Margaret L. O’Connor, his loving wife of 65 years, on January 17, 1948. She survives him. He retired from Saginaw Malleable Iron. Thomas was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #593. He was a great Michigan Fan and enjoyed the sports with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife Margaret are two daughters and one son, Linda and Dale Brown, Kelly and LeeAnn Pugh, Nancy LaFave all of Saginaw; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Thomas was preceded in death by his son, David Pugh and eight brothers and sisters. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. John R. Johnson will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Andrew Cemetery with Military Services conducted by American Legion Post #439. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 5:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
