Partlow, John A. (Jack), Farwell, MI, Formerly of Carrollton Township, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland. Age 77 years. The son of the late Almond and Helen (Braun) Partlow, Jack was born on May 20, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Sandra Langschwager on October 20, 1956. She survives. Jack was a carpenter and salesman for A.T. Frank and Company. He was a volunteer fireman for Carrollton Twp. Fire Department. After retirement Jack and Sandra retired on Lake 13 in Farwell. Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing and belonged to the Eagles Club. Jack was a member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Clare. He enjoyed spending time with his wife (his shadow) and family. He was also known as “Grandpa Jack” to Lake 13 children with special love to Jenna. He was the most unselfish husband, father and grandfather and his life goal was to bring happiness and joy to his family. Surviving besides his wife Sandra are three sons and a daughter, Dan Partlow, Saginaw; Wendy (Bob) Buchinger, Reese; Scott Partlow, Carrollton; Michael (Misty) Partlow, Saginaw; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Stephanie (Jimmy), Travis, Shane, Britany, Tiffany, Hannah, Hallie; three great-grandchildren, Landon, Carter and Teagan; a special friend, Sconey. Jack was preceded in death by a sister Donna Sylvester. Honoring Mr. Partlow’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. Prentice A. Tipton will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family.
