Mrozinski, Lois Ann, Freeland, Michigan

Beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 79 years. The daughter of the late Kenneth and Emily (Zumer) Morey, Lois was born on September 17, 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Albert E. Mrozinski on October 31, 1953. He predeceased her on November 2, 2010. Lois was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, a volunteer at HealthSource and St. Francis Home. Lois and her husband were avid campers and enjoyed gardening and dancing. Surviving are two daughters and four sons, Geri and Dave Knight, Julie and Jim Curtis, Bryan and Lori Mrozinski, Brad Mrozinski, Alan Mrozinski and his wife Sarah Benson, Marty and Rebecca Mrozinski; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson; three sisters and one brother, Carol and Charles Collison, Ronnie Neumann, Mary Ellen and Joseph Manelis, David Morey; a sister-in-law, Karen Morey; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lois was preceded in death by her brother, James Morey. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Road, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Randy Kelly will officiate. Honoring Mrs. Mrozinski’s wishes, cremation will take place with private burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Thursday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the church.
