Moran, Kenneth L., Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 25, 2013 at St. Francis Home after a 7 year struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Age 77. Ken was born January 20, 1936 in Saginaw to the late William and Margaret Moran (Perkins). He married Pamela Dinninger-Hall on September 23, 1977. She survives him, as well as a brother Robert Moran and his daughter Lisa (Billy) Bartelt. Ken was an avid wood worker and bowler. He loved camping, hockey and playing pool. He retired from Schafer Bakery in 2001. He also worked 25 years at McDonald Dairy, and 5 years for Rainbow Bread. Ken also leaves three step children; Shelly (Joe) Krzyzaniak, Nikki (Don) Culver, and Brett Hall. He especially loved his nine grandchildren; Robert Krzyzaniak II, Cody Culver, Brittany Bartelt, Corissa Hall, Austin Culver, Mallory Krzyzaniak, Garett Culver, Brandi Bartelt and Griffin Hall. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 2665 Midland Road. Rev. James Neumann will officiate. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to gather with the family at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 S. Midland Road (S. M-47) on Tuesday, October 29 from 2:00-8:00 p.m., and at the church on Wednesday one hour before the funeral. Memorial offerings in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Second Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
