Main, Evelyn Mae (Diechman), Frankenmuth, MI, Formerly of Carrollton Township, Michigan

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother went home to the Lord on July 24, 2013, with her family by her side at the age of 87. Evelyn was born March 20, 1926, in Saginaw. She married Roy Main on May 1, 1954; he survives her. She retired from Carrollton Public Schools as a paraprofessional. She was a member of Countryside Trinity Church, VFW Post #1566 Women’s Auxiliary, and life-member of VFW National Home for Children. Besides her husband Roy she is survived by her children, Brenda (Kevin) Haines and Larry (Anne) Main; grandchildren, Christopher (Dina) Haines, Renee (Jason) Gillespie, David Main, and Eric Main; and great-grandchildren, Callon Haines and Onnalei Gillespie; and her brother Louie (Jean) Diechman. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Ken Parker will officiate with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to VFW National Home for Children 3573 S.
