Leidlein, Judith G., Saginaw, Michigan


Beloved mother and grandmother passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 72 years. The daughter of the late William and Olga (Stricker) Bedford, Judy was born July 19, 1940 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was previously married to Ronald Leidlein. Judy was employed as a data processor at Michigan Bell Telephone/ATT for 30 years until her retirement in 1994 and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was then employed at Peace Lutheran Latchkey Program for nine years. Judy attended St. John Vianney Catholic Church and had volunteered for SPRED (Special Religious Education) and the Crisis Center in Saginaw. She enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking, playing cards and gardening. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters and one son, Laura Minnis, Rapid City, Michigan; Julie and Tim Williamson, Flint; Jeffrey Leidlein, Ypsilanti; five grandchildren, Jacob Minnis, Warren Leidlein, Madeline Leidlein, Carson Leidlein and Connor Williamson; two sisters and one brother, Janice (Duane) Dinninger, Saginaw; Barbara (Dale) Raycraft, Saginaw; Daniel and Jan Bedford, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Hall. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. John R. Johnson will officiate. Honoring Judy’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Tuesday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. There will be a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
