Krasinski, Alan K., Waterford, Michigan

Beloved brother and uncle passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 at his home in Waterford, Michigan. Age 61 years. The son of the late Edwin and Lottie (Merchel) Krasinski, Alan was born February 16, 1952 in Caro, Michigan. He served as a medic in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Alan was employed at Marblelite for many years. He enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, gardening and living care free. Alan was a very caring and dedicated brother and friend who loved being with his family. Surviving are seven sisters and three brothers, Ed and Gloria Krasinski, Tawas; Patrick Krasinski, Gaylord; Christine and John Bill, Saginaw; Chuck Krasinski and Vicki Devereaux, Bay City; Gerri and Dale Garchow, Saginaw; Pam Krasinski, Saginaw; Jean and Ed Augistine, Florida; Jane and Mitch Dipzinski, Gaylord; Renee and Rick Haggadone, Clio; Valerie and Steve Manta, Battle Creek; two brothers-in-law, James Waclawski, Cleveland, Ohio; Art Pumphrey, Battle Creek; many nieces and nephews. Alan was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Waclawski and Toni Pumphrey, and by a longtime love, Sherry Manta. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. John R. Johnson will officiate and military honors will follow. Honoring Alanís wishes, cremation will follow and interment of his cremains will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
